Bright and Beautiful Indian Wedding

Radhika and Kostas paid tribute to their personalities and cultures throughout their wedding day - starting with a stunning ceremony at Arrowhead Golf Course. The couple, who met at medical school, chose the Jurassic Park theme song for their grand entrance. They incorporated bright colors, mendhi, and South Indian traditions into their big day. Family and friends ended the night with love, dancing, and traditional Indian Cuisine at the gorgeous Inverness Hotel - a perfect conclusion to a beautiful day!

Anyone who knows Radhika and Kostas recognizes they are two incredible people and made for each other. And we had the pleasure of creating their South Indian wedding film in Denver earlier this year. Although there were many cultural elements from a South Indian wedding, their union was also a fusion wedding. They honored Kostas’ Greek culture as well. These two families and cultures celebrating was a beautiful sight! But before we launch into the wedding story, let’s recap how they two met and fell in love. Radhika and Kostas met through a mutual friend while Radhika was going to medical school in Bethlehem, PN. Kostas was also living in Bethlehem, working on his Ph.D. at Lehigh University. After meeting, the two began to chat on Facebook. But, it took several months of talking before they went on an official date. The couple dated for three and a half years, and then Kostas planned a romantic proposal. First, he rented out a penthouse in New York City and arranged for both their families to be there. Then, when everyone arrived, a violinist began playing Radhika and Kostas’ song. At that moment, he got down on one knee and asked Radhika to marry him. The families and couple celebrated with a wonderful lunch together in the penthouse. With Radhika’s South Indian heritage and Kostas’ Greek background, it was important for both of them to celebrate their cultures throughout their wedding. Their ceremony was at the always stunning Arrowhead Golf Course in Roxborough Park, Colorado. Radhika and Kostas tied the knot there with a traditional South Indian ceremony among the natural red rock formations. They hosted the reception at Hilton Denver Inverness with Greek food as a nod toward Kostas’ heritage. The night also included touching speeches by friends and family and plenty of dancing! One of the most extraordinary things about their wedding was that so many of their family members came from abroad. Even one of Radhika’s grandmothers was able to make the trip all the way from India. Everything about the wedding was beautiful and we were honored to be a part of it!
