5 questions to ask yourself about the value of a Day of Coordinator

You've had a blast planning your wedding day.  You found the perfect vendors for your style, linens and accents are in perfect contrast; no detail has been overlooked.  With all of this careful planning, you've gone back and forth about whether or not to hire a day of coordinator to keep all the work you've done in place...

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself when thinking about hiring a day of coordinator

1.       “My photographer/DJ/aunt doesn’t really mind running everything, right?”

Okay, maybe your aunt is actually really excited about helping you out on your big day, but your other vendors are not. You hired them to do one job, and they can’t do as great of a job if they have to be in charge of keeping others on track. Leaving the moving pieces to us will help your vendors do what they do best, and let your family enjoy the festivities!

2.       “Do I really want to clean up after my own wedding?”

Blowing out the candles on your birthday is fun; blowing out the candles on your twenty dinner tables however, not so much. You and your family should be able to leave the party and relax (or continue celebrating) with everyone else, not strip down your gorgeously decorated venue to its bare bones after a long, exciting day. Keep the magic alive and let us pack up your gifts and décor after your celebration.

3.       There are last minute adjustments at EVERY wedding – “Who is going to answer calls from vendors while we’re all getting ready?”

You should not be on the phone with vendors minutes before your first look…sadly, this happens more often than you think. Luckily, we’ll already have the shuttle driver’s number and will confirm the hotel address and pick-up time for him so he never even thinks about calling you.

4.       “If something goes wrong behind the scenes, would I rather find out during the reception, or after I get back from my honeymoon?”

Your day is, of course, going to be absolutely perfect. But, when something does come up, you don’t want to hear about any problem until it’s already been solved. We’ll know the ins and outs of your wedding weeks before it’s show time, so only thing you need to worry about on wedding day is….actually, nothing.

5.       “Does anyone have a steamer?”

We do! Someone’s dress or suit is going to be wrinkled; it’s just a wedding day guarantee. Portable steamers are just one of the dozens of “just in case” items we carry in our emergency kits. Your groomsmen will tease us about them, but we’ll also be the first people they come to when a shoelace breaks!

If you have put in the work to plan your perfect day, you owe it to yourself to talk to one of our consultants about the peace of mind we can bring.  Make your wedding day stress free and fun!
