Timeless and Elegant Wedding at The St. Vrain

Jade & Nate’s wedding at the St. Vrain in Longmont, Colorado was the perfect mix of traditional wedding elements and personalized modern elements! The couple was very thoughtful for both their guests and for themselves. They provided guests with a custom engraved coaster at each place setting before they enjoyed the extensive buffet. They topped it off with Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for dessert- a family favorite- including an ice cream cheers instead of a traditional cake cutting. The groom gifted his groomsmen, the fathers, and grandfathers with “Happy Socks”, which were shown off by the group throughout the night! Flowers were really important to the bride as an essential element of the wedding design. The bold colors of rust and terra cotta were the perfect contrast to the more romantic blush and blue, creating a seamless blend of timeless, elegant, and boho vibes. The ceremony was personalized with the groom’s request to skip the first look so he could soak in every moment of his future bride walking down the aisle and the bride’s sister-in-law (a classically trained opera singer) singing Ave Maria. Together, they personalized the wedding with a fun and upbeat first dance song choice to kick off dancing! The couple loves to be outdoors together with fishing, hiking, and just enjoying nature so we built time into their wedding day for them to sneak away to McIntosh Lake for sunset photos, just the two of them. The time away from guests was magical and provided the perfect refresh before heading back to dance the night away with everyone!
