Golden Hour at Spruce Mountain Ranch
Kenzie and Matt met in college, and it didn't take much more than a few long conversations getting to know one another, a couple of study dates, and about 100 goofy GIFs sent between the two of them. During their relationship they spent the next 4 years falling in love while being hundreds (sometimes thousands) of miles apart. When it finally came time to pick a place to live together, they chose Colorado and never looked back. And despite Kenzie's constant need to know "the plan", Matt managed to get her whole family out to Denver without her having a clue, proposed, and the Uchiyama and Yess families had an amazing weekend celebrating together! The ceremony at Spruce Mountain Ranch was moving and personal, and the couple decided to sign their marriage license during the ceremony itself, selecting two random guests via a lottery system to help them sign the certificate. As the couple put it, “Everyone here is important to us, it’s impossible to pick just two of you to sign this with us. So luck of the draw it is!” The beautiful golden-hour glow inside included chandeliers, candles, neon signs, and a cozy fireplace to continue the vibe of the day. After dinner there was SO much dessert, including a wedding cake, cupcakes, boozy donuts, cookies, and a surprise birthday cake for the groom’s father! As if that wasn’t enough to eat, Whataburger delivered burgers and biscuits for a late night snack! At the end of the night, the couple was whished away in a gorgeous vintage Cadillac while their guests cheered them on. Congratulations, Kenzie and Matt!
