2020 Wedding Trends to Watch

As the 2019 wedding season comes to a close, we have seen couples transform their day by focusing on creating uniquely personalized weddings. From funky floral designs to wedding party styles, Check out eight trends we are excited to see bloom for the 2020 wedding season!

1. Branded Wedding Details: Branded weddings are anything but new, but 2020 will go beyond the basics. Dramatic colors, unique wedding themes, and spunky decor will allow couples to step out of tradition and into their moment.

2. Trendy Table Numbers: Sure, you could always just stick numbers on your tables, but why not take advantage of the opportunity to add to your wedding brand? We’ve seen couples use their favorite movies, hobbies, and details from their love story to create unique, personalized table numbers that double as themed decor.

3. Remix that Wedding Party Style: We love fun themes and pops of color on the bridal party! These fun leather jackets add personality and style. Not to mention, the bright colors stand out beautifully against the fall background colors. In 2020, we can expect to see more wedding parties mix and match to play with colors, textures, and themes.

4. Add Acrylics: Acrylics are a great option for personalizing wedding details! From signs and table markers to card boxes and escort cards, acrylics provide an inexpensive way to customize your wedding.

5. Fun and Funky Dessert Alternatives: Ditch the cake and settle into a less traditional dessert option for you and your guests. We’ve seen it all – from cake pops to cakes made of cheese – but our favorite up-and-coming dessert trend has to be ice cream carts. They’re charming, portable, and an easy crowd-pleaser.

6. Pay Homage to Your Furry Friend: While Fido may not be able to join you for your big day, that’s no reason to leave him out of wedding details. Pay homage to your furry friend by naming a signature cocktail after him or by referencing him in your wedding decor.

7. Vintage Cars: You don’t have to be a car enthusiast to appreciate the beauty of a vintage car. Rent a car to ride in style, jazz up those wedding photos, or provide a classic elegance to your ceremony or reception space.

8. Offbeat Flowers: Move over, rose bouquets! We have our eye on funky florals that allow for a more textured, fun look. From feathers to flowing bohemian bouquets, we predict more brides will step away from tradition and toward offbeat flowers that reflect their personalities.
