We love lace, and are seeing it everywhere lately… in envelopes, wreathes, and of course dresses. Lace has always been a popular wedding trend, but we love the way it is being translated in to every wedding element.

THE Dress can be different for everybody. It can be long, lacy, pouffy, sleek, white, ivory… maybe even aqua blue chiffon if that’s what suits you. But out of allllll the beautiful wedding dresses out there to choose from, it can be a little overwhelming trying to pick just one! Here, Priscilla of Boston has created a profile quiz to help you narrow down your own style and therefore make the wedding gown shopping a little easier as well. Going in with some ideas of what makes you feel like you will help oodles when searching through all that silk, tulle, taffeta and lace (and even the aqua blue chiffon).

Wedding Trend ~ Vintage Jewelry Bouquet

One of our brides came to us recently, and presented the idea of having a bouquet created made form vintage jewelry in a set color palette. Now, this vintage trend is all around us! We especially love the work of Fantasy Floral Design, who specialize in vintage jewelry bouquets. A few examples of their beautiful work:

Although you must find the right venue for this trend, we love the idea of Wall Words to communicate a beautiful wedding monogram or favorite quote of the couple. Just another beautiful way for the couple to communicate to their guests.

What is a wedding without a little sparkle? We’ve love bubbles, petals, and confetti, but what about sparklers to greet the bride and groom? One of our couples last year danced their first dance surrounded by love and sparks in the dark…

Trend: Photo Frame Walls

We love when couples allow us to think outside the box when it comes to capturing their guests on their wedding. We love the photo frame wall trend, because with a stationed photographer or camera and a carefully constructed backdrop, guests can have their personalities really shine and create a memorable photo book for the bride and groom. Trend: Very Long Tables

I think it was Martha Stewart Weddings that pushed this trend first, but we are seeing more of the very long banquet table more and more in Colorado this season. Couples are choosing to have their guests a part of one long table or a few long sets of tables. Of course your venue has to have the space to allow it, but the very high impact is great for photos, and the design can be amazing!
