Well, in Liz and Brent’s engagement photos, there were good people all around. Beautiful bride, loving groom, and amazing photographer, Colorado Wedding Photographer, JasonG. Not to mention the two cuddly canines that joined the shoot! The personalities that are shown through the photos really communicate how perfect these two are for each other. Not to mention that the personal touches (anyone see that fantastic belt buckle??) really make the images stand out as unique to these two. Oh, how we love love. Our Inspired Creations Contest Entry!
1 Comment | Filed under Attire Color Decor Event Place cards advice chic flowers handmade inspiration stationary style summer weddingRecently, A Touch of Bliss was privileged enough to be invited to join the dream team of Revert Photo, Makeup by Janine, and Bella Fiori Events in a contest sponsored by Elizabeth Anne Designs and The Sweetest Occasion. The Inspired Creations contest was simple, yet ohhh-so-complicated. All we needed to do was come up with a unique wedding concept and put our ideas into action by creating a sample vignette showcasing our design for under $500 and plan it among five insanely busy schedules… Easy, right?
Surprisingly, YES! Working with such great teammates made brainstorming and completion of our concept a breeze! It was a dream to work with so many creative personalities and the results (if we do say so ourselves) turned out just lovely. But most of all, we hope that our concept of finding wedding inspiration in your own home will help all those brides and grooms out there who are still looking for their wedding “style”. After all, home is where the ♥ is.

The Inspired Creations Contest
So I know the phrase, “Inspiration can be found ANYWHERE!” is super cliche and can even be really frustrating when you reallycan’t seem to find inspiration for a project or problem you’re working on.
Well, the truth of that phrase rang true when I stumbled upon Stina Persson’s site several years ago. A fantastic illustrator based in Stockholm, Stina has provided me with endless motivation when I’m stuck on something. The vivacity and strength of her colors and lines always spur me to get through my rut. Now I am finding the same inspiration from her pieces and applying them to weddings. Wouldn’t her bold colors provide a beautiful palette for a sassy summer soiree?? Go ahead and nod your head… nobody’s watching. ;) Take a peek at her website the next time you’re stuck and see how you get inspired!
