Isn’t it funny how sometimes when you look at a picture, you can really get a feel for the type of people in it? Well, in Liz and Brent’s engagement photos, there were good people all around. Beautiful bride, loving groom, and amazing photographer, Colorado Wedding Photographer, JasonG. Not to mention the two cuddly canines that joined the shoot! The personalities that are shown through the photos really communicate how perfect these two are for each other. Not to mention that the personal touches (anyone see that fantastic belt buckle??) really make the images stand out as unique to these two. Oh, how we love love. THE Dress can be different for everybody. It can be long, lacy, pouffy, sleek, white, ivory… maybe even aqua blue chiffon if that’s what suits you. But out of allllll the beautiful wedding dresses out there to choose from, it can be a little overwhelming trying to pick just one! Here, Priscilla of Boston has created a profile quiz to help you narrow down your own style and therefore make the wedding gown shopping a little easier as well. Going in with some ideas of what makes you feel like you will help oodles when searching through all that silk, tulle, taffeta and lace (and even the aqua blue chiffon).

365 days until Butler Wedding #3

Nine years ago today, my husband and I exchanged vows on the campus at Santa Clara University, and had our reception at the Silicon Valley Capitol Club in San Jose. The eight bridesmaids wore ice blue gowns and held light blue hydrangea bouquets.

Five years after that, Scott surprised me with a vow renewal ceremony, just the two of us and a Hawaiian minister on poipu beach on Kauai. Our reception was a sunset dinner for two at the Beach House . I had a tuberose and gardenia bouquet, and Scott wore maile.

For our ten year anniversary, exactly one year from today, we are going to plan a celebration of “Loving Out Loud”. And once again, I am a bride-to-be! Stay tuned for more details, as the planning begins!
