We were delighted to meet the acquaintance of Lisa and Andrea, the team at Sweet Pea Flowers! This design duo brings a new meaning to the term “lush” florals. Their use of fruit and unexpected flowers keeps us guessing! A few examples of their amazing work:
From inspiration board to a beautiful “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” shower. This special bride wanted a bridal shower based on the movie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, starring Audrey Hepburn. The inspiration board we created for the event:

The linens were provided by A Boulder Affair, candelabras from Butler Rents, candles were rolled in glass glitter, and the pearls, favor boxes, napkins and other details were all found online! Guests opened their own “Tiffany” boxes to find chocolates and a string of freshwater pearls. The menu included chocolate croissant, fruit, glazed donuts, and a “Tiffany Box” cake. A few photos from the event:

Also, a short video of the table. Enjoy!
We came across this lovely bridal gown designing pair, Alix & Kelly, and we love their simple, sweet style. Their company is barely a year old, and their collection is already creating buzz! With a costume design background, these two ladies know how to style for a simple, elegant bride. I see the”Kate” design blowing in the wind during a beautiful beach side wedding, don’t you?

They also have a small, but beautiful line of bridesmaid gowns to choose from in a rainbow of colors. A few of our favorites…

This wrap literally IS the icing on the cake! An organza confection, this wrap would add a couture feel to any gown. Offered on Etsy by Modern Romance PDX, and perfect for a summer wedding. Or what about the finishing touch on a getaway dress?

Everyone once a while, brides and grooms decide to forgo a videographer for their wedding coverage. Some couples think they don’t need the added expense, the extra vendor, or the man behind the camera asking their guests questions at the reception. However, I am a HUGE advocate for videographers, and I always tell my brides that there is nothing like watch yourself walk down the aisle. The whole day passes you by so quickly, and your photos and video are the only documentation you have of the day.
If you are a bride considering a videographer, this video will push you over the edge. Found by the amazing team at Style Me Pretty, this wedding was shot in Anguilla by the talented team at Elysium Productions, it moved us to tears! I can’t say enough about this example of outstanding work – well done Elysium!

We are huge fans of La Tartine Gourmande, and these images of Rainier cherries and red currants just took our breath away. We could design an entire wedding around these images. Just so sweet, vibrant, and lovely!

What a perfect shower gift! Certain to be a family hand-me-down, the bride and groom’s initials and wedding date can be personalized and tied to the bride’s bouquet. Offered at $30 by Cherry Creek Charms, it’s a wonderful present for any bride!
A year ago on July 12th, Kendra and Florent exchanged vows in a 12th century church in Antrain, France. Their reception followed at the castle grounds pictured below! We were lucky to be part of a such a beautiful, bright, and colorful wedding – the details were just perfect! The couple now lives in Manhattan, and are in the process of purchasing a house in upstate New York – we can’t wait to visit!
